Having built an entire career in the industry, Darrell made the leap to start his own business (with the help of his wife Julianne) in 1990. Since then, their diligent work and commitment has helped West Side Wood Products expand rapidly. As the business has grown – moving to a new facility in 2007 – Darrell and his team still do what they do best: build solid partnerships with their customers based on integrity and reliability, and build custom boxes, crates, and pallets made from high quality lumber.
Timothy E. Kiick
Chief Financial OfficerTimothy E. Kiick’s professional experience spans a number of various financial and accounting roles. His diverse skill set and the breadth of his business knowledge brought him to the J.F. Rohrbaugh management team in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant with an in-depth knowledge of financial management, tax reporting, policy implementation, and strategies to maximize the company’s return on investment. He is an Economics graduate of Millersville University, and he holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. Tim played tennis competitively for many years. Currently, he enjoys teaching at an area country club. He lives with his family in Abbottstown, PA.
Business Development ManagerAs JFR's Business Development Manager, Marc is often responsible for a potential client’s first impression of the company. His sincere interest in discovering how J.F. Rohrbaugh (JFR) might be able to better serve its wood packaging needs and his affable and engaging nature allow him to truly relate to potential clients, regardless of the size and scope of their project needs. Marc joined the JFR team with more than twelve years of retail management experience. He also spent time on a nationally recognized inside sales team. His background made it plain that, regardless of the industry, relationship building is the hallmark of a successful sales team. Marc identifies potential markets and future accounts for JFR, expanding its professional portfolio within industries it already has a significant client base in, and exploring markets that are as yet untapped. He asks the right questions to help JFR's Account Management team prepare a focused and effective product presentation. Marc's easy rapport with a potential client makes him--and by extension JFR--a trustworthy advocate, and allows the sales team to create a competitive solution to resolve their crate and pallet issues. Marc lives in Reading, PA, with his family. They love seeing new movies in the theater and spending their family vacations at the beach. Marc also loves to play various sports with his young children.
As the Account Executive at J.F. Rohrbaugh (JFR), Heidi's focuses on the continuous needs of our current customers. From customer visits to account management, Heidi coordinates the services and maintenance of our existing accounts. Heidi's professional experience has allowed her to fine-tune her customer service, account management, and process improvement skills. Her experience coupled with her attention to detail, charismatic attitude, and drive for success makes her a great fit for our Sales Team. Heidi has a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where she studied English and Communications. Outside of the office, Heidi enjoys giving back to the community, exploring nature, and spending time with her rescue dog Roxy.
